Notice to the Committee of Safety, 1777.

Notice to the Committee of Safety in New Salem (Mass.), inviting their delegates and officers of the militia to a meeting in Greenwich on Aug. 4, upon the request of the citizens there, to discuss actions to be taken against the enemies of the country, dated July 26, 1777. The notice was a gift of Dr. Norman E. Clarke.
